History
I began my career in 2002 as a loan originator with First Northern Financial with a branch located in Eau Claire, WI, which later became Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. With the knowledge I had gained and respect I have for Fairway, I purchased the branch and became branch manager in 2004 and relocated to New Auburn, WI, where I currently reside.
Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation is headquartered in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and is celebrating more than a decade of growth. Founded in 1996 by Steve Jacobson and Dean Anderson, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation now has 108 branches and more than 500 employees nationwide! Lending volume for Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation has increased from $1 billion in 2001 to $1.97 billion in 2008. We are on track to do even better in 2009.
Being part of a larger organization provides us with the systems and the culture needed to grow in the residential mortgage finance industry. Branch offices, like ours, operate independently for day-to-day operations but follow established corporate guidelines while benefiting from areas of personnel, accounting, compliance and technology. Because of this, we are able to offer the reliability of a large company and the friendly, personal touch of a locally owned business.
